1. About Altera
Altera is a community of makers and filmmakers exploring Generative AI in creative activities. We host an annual AI Film Festival and various community events in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 12 years of age to use this Website and attend our events. By using this Website or purchasing tickets, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Individuals under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to use our Website and attend events.
3. Use of the Website
You agree to use this Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. 4. Ticket Purchases
Payment Processing
All ticket purchases are processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Pricing
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Prices displayed at the time of purchase will be honored for that transaction.
Refund Policy
Refunds are available for ticket purchases made more than 48 hours before the scheduled event. Refund requests must be submitted to support@alterafestival.com. No refunds will be issued for requests made within 48 hours of the event start time. In the event that we cancel an event, full refunds will be provided to all ticket holders.
5. Newsletter Subscription
By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receive periodic emails about Altera events, community updates, and related content. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email or by contacting us directly.
6. Film Submissions
Film submissions for our AI Film Festival are handled through Film Freeway, a third-party platform. Submissions are subject to Film Freeway's terms of service and any additional submission guidelines we publish on Film Freeway or our Website.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Altera or its content suppliers and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this Website without our prior written consent.

8. User Conduct at Events
By attending Altera events, you agree to: comply with all venue rules and regulations; treat other attendees, staff, and filmmakers with respect; refrain from any disruptive, harmful, or illegal behavior; and follow instructions from event staff. We reserve the right to remove any attendee from an event without refund for violation of these conduct standards.
